OMG. Homeland

That's pretty much all I can say. OMG.

Well that's not true. Let's start with how beautiful Claire Danes was at the Emmys last year (above). I know it was a while ago- but I can't get over how lovely she looked, pregnant! I'd like to look like this any time, let alone while carrying a baby.

But back to Homeland. A week and a half ago, I splurged and went to Best Buy (for the first time, it felt like, in years) to get Homeland. I had heard so much about it, I couldn't wait to watch, being the TV fanatic that I am. And now, a little over a week later- I just finished the season. So the only question left is- when does Season Two come to Blue Ray!?



PS. Fun fact: did you know that Claire Danes is married to the adorable Hugh Dancy? What a lovely couple!

Do You Remember Your First Grey Hair?

I remember mine. It was a sunny day. I was walking down the street with one of my best friends, and she stopped me cold. Taken aback, I thought something awful had just occurred to her, but I soon came to realize it was just my shining white hair peaking through my usual blonde locks that made her stop and 'warn' me.

Anyway, I like how some people can just embrace the grey. Don't these two look great?

Where to DRINK Wednesdays: Moon Juice

Recently, I've mentioned my love for natural juice mixes and the amazing energy and satisfaction they bring. So I've been meaning to check out Moon Juice in Venice- a new healthy, hippie, totally Southern California spot. Plus, it's just a short walk from my work, so in the coming weeks my team is planning on taking a healthy field trip!

I think the Beet Aid might be my go-to, but I'd also love to try the Carrot, Lime, and Coconut or the Cantaloupe Nectarine. Which would you try?

Also, would you or have you ever done a cleanse? Moon Juice offers a Rainbow or Green cleanse. I don't think I could do it- but I think you're hardcore if you do!

What a trip!

This month, February 28th will mark ten years (10 YEARS!) since Zac asked me to be his girlfriend!!! (surprised, my response all those years ago was 'sure'). Well, I am sure happy I said that- because this chunk of our history together has been pretty unforgettable.

Although we now have a new anniversary to celebrate, we wanted to do something special to celebrate 10 years of knowing and loving each other. So, we booked a room at The Clement, Monterey (thanks to a recommendation from my cousin).

I've never been to Monterey, so I'm excited to go and take in the beautiful landscape. I'd love to make stops in Carmel and Big Sur, as the areas look absolutely breathtaking...

We're bringing James with us of course, but we're dropping him off with Zac's mom so we can have a night (or two) to ourselves. After realizing Monterey's Aquarium is such a must see, we figured we can't let the little guy go without a fun family stop to check out the marine life. But otherwise, I plan on taking in the beauty of the surroundings with my cute husband. :)

I'm going to be looking forward to this trip all month!
